Men Don't Fancy Skinny Girls... Woman With The Largest Hips

The woman with the world's largest hips still insists she is the perfect size and won't slim down. Mikel Ruffinelli's hips and bottom measure a staggering 8ft around.

Yet despite being 5' 4" and weighing 420lbs, Mikel, 39, who features in TLC’s documentary World’s Biggest Hips, insists that she sees no reason to slim down or shape up .She says he husband loves her that way and men prefer her figure to slim ladies.

'I love my shape and I see no reason to diet because I don’t have health problems,''I love my curves, I love my hips, I love my attributes.'

She regularly faces negative attention as well, noting that she often sees others whisper, point, and laugh when they see her. People even take photos and record video of her on their phones. But, she insists, not all of the reactions are critical. Rather, men she encounters seem to prefer her record-breaking size.

'Men don’t fancy skinny girls, they like an hourglass figure,' she says. 'I think it's very feminine to have curves. It makes us womanly, it makes us beautiful. I rather be this size and happy, with me loving me, than to be skinny, that size, and be unhappy.'

Her husband, Reggie, agrees. He adds with a wink:

'I tell people all the time: I have a license to work with heavy equipment.'

Protesting Militants Barricades Road

Protesting ex-militants, yesterday, barricaded the Mbiama axis of the East-West Road over alleged non-payment of their allowances by the amnesty office.

The protesters, led by the Bayelsa State Third Phase Amnesty chairman, Ebi John, trooped to the road as early as 7a.m., and blocked the road, obstructing free flow of traffic.

Motorists and travellers plying the route were stranded as the protesters chanted war songs demanding the payment of their allowances without further delay.

But military patrol vans and two Armoured Personnel Carriers, APCs, driven by soldiers were said to have swooped on the youths.

The soldiers were said to have shot into the air many times to dislodge the youths from the road.
John accused the amnesty office of insensitivity, adding that the office and the Accountant-General were deliberately delaying their allowances.

He said they earlier went to Abuja to lodge the same complaint but the Amnesty office unleashed terror on them using soldiers.

Workers Shut Down Ait And Raypower Over 17 Months Unpaid Salaries

Workers of Daar Communications Plc, operators of African Independent Television (AIT) and Raypower FM Radio, yesterday shut down all broadcasting activities at the Benin studio in protest over unpaid 17 months salaries.

The scores of protesting workers were said to have blocked the main entrance to the station located along the Benin/Lagos bypass.

It was gathered that the protesting workers put at about fifty workers, were owed salaries spanning between 12 and 17 months.

According to Pm News, one of workers who claimed anonymity said that newly employed staff of AIT were being owed 12 months while old staff were yet to be paid salaries between 13 months and staff of the Raypower FM, the Radio arm of the broadcast outfit were owed 17 months.

“The stations generate millions of naira on a daily basis, so there is no reason why we should not be paid our salaries. They have no excuse not to pay us our money. It is share wickedness and man’s inhumanity to his fellow man. We have families to care for and children to pay their school fees. Many of our children have stopped going to school. But their own attend schools abroad.

Look at where our station is located, in another village so far away from Benin City. You have to chatter a taxi cab for not less than N500.00 to get there if you miss the staff bus. And not even every cab driver will agree to go there because of the wrong location of the station, yet, they expect us to be there everyday, whether you have anything to do or not,” he said.

PDP Sued Over 70m Campaign Contract

The Peoples Democratic Party and two officials of its Presidential campaign organisation, have been sued by a firm, Silon Concepts Limited, for their alleged refusal to pay an outstanding N70m balance for a campaign contract.

The firm filed a suit marked CV/2017/15 before the Federal Capital Territory High Court in Abuja on Thursday., June 3.

Silcon Concepts is demanding full payment for the ‘voice SMS campaign broadcast’ ‎it sent out to voters on behalf of the PDP’s Presidential candidate, former President Goodluck Jonathan, before the March 28, 2015 Presidential poll.

The two other members of the ‎campaign organisation who are defendants in the case are; the chairman, Ahmadu Ali, and director of finance, Senator Nenadi Usman.

The plaintiff’s suit had read: “An order compelling the defendants to pay the plaintiff the sum of N70m being the outstanding balance for the contract executed by the plaintiff for the defendants.

“An order compelling the defendants to pay N15m being the cost of the suit. An or‎der compelling the defendants to pay the bank an annual interest rate of 10 per cent on the sum of N70m until the said sum is fully liquidated.”

No Severance Pay For Jonathan, Sambo Others till 2016

Former President Goodluck Jonathan, former Vice President, Namadi Sambo, non returning federal lawmakers as well as immediate past ministers and presidential aides, will not get their severance allowances until 2016.

Going by the remuneration package put together by the Revenue Mobilisation, Allocation and Fiscal Commission, their severance allowances is valued at about N3.24bn.

Sources at the Ministry of Finance in Abuja confided to Punch Newspapers on Thursday, June 4, that the allowances of the political office holders that left office last week were not included in the budget for 2015.

The year’s budget, which was passed by the National Assembly and signed by Jonathan on April 28, only makes provision of N2.3bn for “entitlements of former Presidents/Heads of state and Vice Presidents/Chiefs of General Staff.”

The Ministry official revealed that the severance pay was not included in this year’s budget, because the outcome of the April 2015 elections could not be ascertained, when the 2015 budget was being prepared last year.

He said as a result of this, there was no way the Budget Office could have determined the number of political office holders that would not be re-elected.

The official was quoted to have said: “You will recall that the 2015 budget was prepared sometime last year and during the budget preparation, the elections had not been held.”

“So it would be wrong to include the severance package of political office holders in the budget because as of the time the budget was prepared, these people were still holding political offices. Secondly, including their severance package before the elections were conducted would mean that we were pre-empting the outcome of a political process.”

“So what we do is to wait for the outcomes of elections and on the strength of this, we can know the number of people that have left office and those re-elected. As for those political office holders that are leaving office this year, their severance package would be included in the 2016 budget which would be prepared later in the year.”

Federal Ministry Of Environment Cancels 9.2billion Naira Cooking Stove Contract

The Federal Ministry of Environment has canceled the N9.2 billion clean cook stoves and wonder bags contract, initiated by the former administration of Dr. Goodluck Jonathan for rural women under the national clean cooking scheme.

Permanent Secretary in the Ministry, Mrs Fatima Mede, said the German contractor, who was given three months to supply 750,000 units of the stove and 18,000 wonder bags under the scheme, had failed on his part to deliver the items.

Mrs. Mede confirmed that five billion Naira had been released to the Ministry by the government out of which the contractor has received only N1.3 billion.

The permanent secretary, however, urged Nigerians not to be apprehensive over the remaining N3.7 billion in the ministry’s coffers, which according to her remains untouched.

She pointed out that the stoves, which were to be assembled locally, were meant to provide jobs to Nigerians among other benefits.

It would be recalled that two days to the end of the past administration, then Vice President, Arc. Namadi Sambo, unveiled a few of the clean cook stoves at the Presidential Villa, Abuja.

VP Was Locked Out Of President Buhari's Security Meeting

Vice-President Yemi Osinbajo was ‘locked out’ of President Muhammadu Buhari’s meeting with the National Security Adviser on the orders of the President.

Trent is reporting that a top Government source who pleaded anonymity disclosed on Wednesday that Vice-President Osinbajo was refused ‘security clearance’ to attend the meeting as a result of security concerns by the Commander-in-Chief allegedly over what he described as a “very sensitive meeting”.

According to the source, it was the thinking of the President that it was too early in the day to bring Vice-President Osinbajo into the President’s first security briefing.

The June 1 meeting with NSA Sambo Dasuki, which lasted for hours, was part of what sources called “debriefing process” and was done behind closed doors in the absence of the Vice-President.

Dasuki remained with the president till after 4pm when he left the Defence House, Daily Trust reports.

Buhari and Vice-President Osinbajo are yet to move into the Presidential Villa, 6 days after their inauguration.

China Hackers On US Database Compromises 4Million Identities

China-based hackers are suspected of breaking into the computer networks of the U.S. government personnel office and stealing identifying information of at least 4 million federal workers, American officials said Thursday.

The Department of Homeland Security said in a statement that data from the Office of Personnel Management and the Interior Department had been compromised.

4 million current and former federal employees may have had their personal information hacked.

The agency, which conducts background checks, warned it was urging potential victims to monitor their financial statements and obtain new credit reports.

U.S. officials believe this could be the biggest breach ever of the government’s computer networks.

“The FBI is conducting an investigation to identify how and why this occurred,” the statement said.

An assessment continues and it is possible millions more government employees may be impacted.

American investigators believe they can trace the breach to the Chinese government. Hackers working for the Chinese military are believed to be compiling a massive database of Americans, intelligence.

A U.S. official, who declined to be named because he was not authorized to publicly discuss the data breach, said it could potentially affect every federal agency. One key question is whether intelligence agency employee information was stolen. Former government employees are affected as well.

“This is an attack against the nation,” said Ken Ammon, chief strategy officer of Xceedium, who said the attack fit the pattern of those carried out by nation states for the purpose of espionage. The information stolen could be used to impersonate or blackmail federal employees with access to sensitive information, he said.

It is not clear what the purpose of the database is.

Employees of the legislative and judicial branches, and uniformed military personnel, were not affected.

The FBI is now investigating what exactly led to the breach.

“We take all potential threats to public and private sector systems seriously, and will continue to investigate and hold accountable those who pose a threat in cyberspace,” the FBI said in a statement.

The federal personnel office said “personally identifiable information” had been breached, though didn’t name who might be responsible.

The NDLEA is however challenging the jurisdiction of the court to entertain the matter. They are also seeking the reversal of the court order of May 26 which directed it to withdraw more than 50 of his operatives that had laid siege to Kashamu’s house.

Brazil Tops Group E At The Ongoing U20 FIFA WORLD CUP

Brazil tops the Group E table at the Ongoing FIFA U20 World Cup tournament by defeating Hungry. The hungarian team were left with a man down at the early minutes of first half, thanks to Krisztian Tamas 16' who made the match end in favour of the Brazilians wit a 2-1 defeat. Goals frm Danilo 50' and Andreas Pereira 80' gave the brazil team 2 goals while the lone goal scored by Bence Mervo 8' in the early minutes of the first Half.

Although Hungary are second placed on the table despite the defeat, thanks to the goal difference from their 1st game of 5-1 against North Korea, this made them have a goal more than our Nigerian team in which we are placed third place. So we need an outright win to qualify comfortably without fighting for best losers to the next round.

The last game will b on June 7, 6:00am Nigerian time... For the supporters of Flying Eagles, let's pray and support them. I believe we are going to the next round...

Fayose Writes To Buhari To Let Him Nominate One Minister

Governor Ayo Fayose of Ekiti has urged President Buhari to let him nominate a minister. His request was contained in a letter sent to the President. Part of the letter reads

“I shall be happy to nominate a worthy and competent professional who can always oblige your Excellency and your cabinet the benefit of a second opinion in the serious business of governance.”

He noted he would want a minister who can represent Ekiti state's interest at the national level despite the fact that he is a PDP member and all members of his state's national assembly are from PDP.
He said that he wrote the letter based on the declaration made by the President that he would put the overall interest of the country above political partisanship and biases.

He also explained his request is  not new to the country’s democracy, noting that former president Olusegun Obasanjo who was with PDP,  appointed late Chief Bola Ige who was the leader of the Alliance for Democracy as a minster.

Buhari to head Ministry of Petroleum-Reuters

President Buhari may head the ministry of petroleum..That is what Reuters is reporting.

(Buhari) is likely to keep the oil portfolio for himself in the new Nigerian cabinet, rather than trust anyone else with the source of most of Nigeria’s revenue and traditional fount of corruption, associates say.
Nigeria’s oil sector is so dirty that nobody’s hands are clean enough to do the “surgical changes” needed, one long-standing associate told Reuters on condition of anonymity because the cabinet decision is still under wraps.

 Another political associate said:

“He will do it. It would be stupid to give that position to anyone else.”

“It’s going to be a lean government, I doubt he’ll have 42 ministries like Jonathan but he must have at least 36 (for the number of states) as prescribed by the constitution, though it does not specify whether they have to be senior or junior,” an advisor in the ruling APC party told Reuters.

The new administration had not yet gone through reports on Jonathan's handover notes on policy, the advisor said.

"There is a huge body of proposals being bandied around the place," the advisor said, adding that nothing beyond broad strokes had been outlined.

Football Fans Are Delighted Over Sepp Blatter Resignation From Fifa

Written ny Tope Ojo

Much to the delight of many in the football world, Sepp Blatter's resignation as Fifa President on tuesday was a welcome development...

Don't Forget The Change You Asked For -- By King Paul

Voice! If it is not uttered it could be misinterpreted. About 70% of Nigerians spoke out loud and with one voice for change and it came their way, either they all know or actually believe in what was asked for is another thing but the major thing is that the voice was heard and the Change (in Government) came.

It is not time to forget why you asked for change, it is rather the time to follow up on what you believe is right and ask for more of what you did asked for... change in our nation.

A Friend of mine said Buhari just resumed, he should be given time to settle down, I don't agree with him; ask and ask until you see what you want. Even the bible said we should pray without seizing, so for a man (President) not to forget what we want, we must tell him until it is done. He is human and he can forget why he is there because power corrupts and absolute power corrupts absolutely.

If you are Pro-Buhari you must not be Anti-Nigeria, so please don't tell me I should let him settle down. Keep your voice up and keep the hope alive.

He belongs to us all and he belongs to non of us.

Breaking News: Fifa President Sepp Blatter Resigns

Following pressure and heat of scandals that has engulfed world football’s governing body, Sepp Blatter on Tuesday resigned as president of FIFA. Blatter told Swiss TV on Friday: “Why would I step down? That would mean I recognise that I did wrong.” Hmmm. Sepp Blatter in his word on tuesday said:

I have been reflecting deeply about my presidency and about the 40 years in which my life has been inextricably bound to Fifa and the great sport of football. I cherish Fifa more than anything and I want to do only what is best for Fifa and for football. I felt compelled to stand for re-election, as I believed that this was the best thing for the organisation. That election is over but Fifa’s challenges are not. Fifa needs a profound overhaul.

While I have a mandate from the membership of Fifa, I do not feel that I have a mandate from the entire world of football – the fans, the players, the clubs, the people who live, breathe and love football as much as we all do at Fifa. Therefore, I have decided to lay down my mandate at an extraordinary elective Congress. I will continue to exercise my functions as Fifa President until that election. The next ordinary Fifa Congress will take place on 13 May 2016 in Mexico City. This would create unnecessary delay and I will urge the Executive Committee to organise an Extraordinary Congress for the election of my successor at the earliest opportunity. This will need to be done in line with Fifa’s statutes and we must allow enough time for the best candidates to present themselves and to campaign. Since I shall not be a candidate, and am therefore now free from the constraints that elections inevitably impose, I shall be able to focus on driving far-reaching, fundamental reforms that transcend our previous efforts.

For years, we have worked hard to put in place administrative reforms, but it is plain to me that while these must continue, they are not enough. The Executive Committee includes representatives of confederations over whom we have no control, but for whose actions Fifa is held responsible. We need deep-rooted structural change. The size of the Executive Committee must be reduced and its members should be elected through the Fifa Congress. The integrity checks for all Executive Committee members must be organised centrally through Fifa and not through the confederations. We need term limits not only for the president but for all members of the Executive Committee. I have fought for these changes before and, as everyone knows, my efforts have been blocked.

This time, I will succeed. I cannot do this alone. I have asked Domenico Scala to oversee the introduction and implementation of these and other measures. Mr Scala is the Independent Chairman of our Audit and Compliance Committee elected by the Fifa Congress. He is also the Chairman of the ad hoc Electoral Committee and, as such, he will oversee the election of my successor. Mr Scala enjoys the confidence of a wide range of constituents within and outside of Fifa and has all the knowledge and experience necessary to help tackle these major reforms. It is my deep care for Fifa and its interests, which I hold very dear, that has led me to take this decision. I would like to thank those who have always supported me in a constructive and loyal manner as President of Fifa and who have done so much for the game that we all love. What matters to me more than anything is that when all of this is over, football is the winner.

In their statements, the women claimed that they smuggled cocaine because they were abandoned by their husbands.
Priscilla, when asked questions, said that she wanted to establish herself financially to take care of her children.

“I am married to a soldier but he abandoned me 10 years ago when he retired from the army. I got married early because there was no money for me to further my studies after my primary education. My husband, who is a retired soldier, abandoned me. Since then, my life has been sorrowful.

"I sell female clothes and shoes to take care of my children. I met a man at the market who promised to assist me in my business by making me an importer. This was how we began to talk on phone. He gave me recharge cards and money to sustain myself. It was the day I was to travel that he told me that I would take drugs to China.
"He took me to a hotel where I was given the drugs and $6,000 to buy my goods in China. I could only swallow 10 wraps, so I forced some in my vagina and packed others in my underwear,” she said.

Uzoma who also said that her husband abandoned her with seven children, stated;

“I sell female bags and shoes to sustain myself and my children. My husband left me in 2005 and since then, I have been facing several challenges. I took loan to travel to China and in the process, I incurred huge debt which compounded my problems.
"At a point, I had no money for food, school fees and even house rent. This was what made me to smuggle drugs. I swallowed 59 wraps of drugs all through the night because of $6,000. I also packed some in my underwear and one in my vagina. It was a terrible experience. I feel so sad that I have to end up this way as a Christian.”

NDLEA commander at the Lagos Airport, Mr. Hamza Umar, described the suspects as desperate traffickers saying:

“these women are curiously desperate for ingesting drugs, packing some on their bodies and inserting in their vagina. The first one, Alaka Deborah Uzoma, 47 years old, was found with 1.180 kilogrammes of cocaine. She inserted 260 grammes of cocaine in her private part and ingested 60 wraps weighing 920 grammes.
"The second suspect, Chukwujekwu Chinyere Priscilla, 45 years old, was caught with 1.455 kilogrammes of cocaine. She packed 59 wraps on her body, inserted one parcel in her vagina weighing 1.285 kilogrammes and ingested 10 wraps weighing 170 grammes. They are both from Anambra State.”

“it is good that the drugs were detected here by our officials because China has capital punishment for drug trafficking. This arrest has saved them from death and the country from embarrassment. Their action is utterly disgraceful because as mothers, they ought to show good example for their children to emulate.”
